MACDONALD, BERNARD "BERNIE" Passed away suddenly with his family by his side on Friday September 26, 2008 at St. Mary's General Hospital at the age of 75. Son of the late John and Augusta (nee Spencer). Loving father of Brenda Wood and her husband Les and Bradley and his wife Michelle. Affectionately known and loved as "Happy" by his grandchildren, Brittani and Colton Wood, Cody and Brandon MacDonald and by his many close friends. Survived by his sister, Elaine (Peggy) MacLellan; and her husband, George. Will be missed dearly by his beloved dog Maverick. Predeceased by his brothers, Floyd, Owen, Oswald and Boyd. Bernie enjoyed the outdoors especially fishing and hunting in Stokes Bay. He was also an avid woodworker. Cremation has taken place. At Bernie's request there will be a private family gathering in his memory.
