NORTHRUP, CLAUDE The death of Claude (Bud) Frederick Northrup, age 80, of Sussex Corner, NB, occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Wednesday, October 1, 2008. He was the husband of Garda (Buchanan) Northrup. Bud was born on September 25, 1928 in Saint John, the son of the late Sterling and Thelma (Cromwell) Northrup. He is survived by his wife Garda; son Jack and Mary Northrup of Lower Sackville, NS; daughters Judy Northrup of Fredericton, Wendy Northrup of Sussex Corner, Trudy and Mike Flannery of Fredericton and Pamela and Glendon Tower of Carsonville; five grandchildren; three great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his sister Marguerite Latham. The family will receive visitors at the Coles Island Lions Club Hall, Coles Island, NB, on Saturday, October 4, 2008, from 2 to 4 p.m. Following cremation, a private family interment will be held in the Coles Island Baptist Cemetery.
