CARROLL, JAMES IVAN Mr. James Ivan Carroll of Central New Brunswick Nursing Home, Boiestown, formerly of Doaktown passed away Tuesday October 7, 2008 at Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital, at the age of 73. Born in Doaktown NB, he was the son of the late Ernest and Helen (Holmes) Carroll. He was a retired self employed welder. He was a member of St Thomas United Church, Doaktown and a member of Royal Canadian Legion. He is survived by three daughters; Sharon Loomues (David) of Ontario; Linda Lalonda (Mark) of Ontario; Eve Carroll of Dartmouth; one son; Robert Carroll of Ontario; three sisters; Alberta Haddon of Oromocto; Nan Sgambati of Scarborough ON; Georgia Clark of Halifax; 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Besides his parents he was predeceased by four brothers; Carvell, Guy, Newton and Hudson. At the request of the family there will be no visitation at the funeral home. A Memorial Service will be held Monday October 13, 2008 at 2 p.m. from Davidson's Funeral Home Chapel, 579 Main Street, Doaktown, with Rev. Lana Medeiros officiating.
