MURPHY, HAZEL P. The death of Hazel P. Murphy of Chipman and formally of Saint John,occurred at the Queens North Health Center Chipman on Sunday October 26, 2008. Born in Saint John she was a daughter of the late James and Hazel (Watters) (McLellan) Bradley and the widow of the late James Olsen and the late James Murphy. Hazel worked for many years in the kitchen of the former TB hospital in Saint John, east and she was a member of the Lionette Club in Chipman-Minto. She is survived by 3 sons, Donald Olsen (Margaret) of Sussex NB, Kenneth Olsen (Mary) of Saint John East, and Stephen Olsen of Hampton NB, one daughter Theresa Murphy (Mark) of Saint John, two Brothers Kenneth Bradley (Evelyn) of Ketepec and Arthur Merritt of Calgary Albt, three sisters, Valerie Martin of Saint John, Marion Hamilton (Allan) of Saint John East and Carolyn Whitebone (Peter) of Saint John, 22 grandchildren and many great and great great crandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. Hazel was predeceased by two sons Edward (Eddie) and Robert (Bobby) Olsen; one daughter Barbara Michaud (Phillip) of Chipman, and a grandson Albert Michaud. Resting at Brenans Select Community Funeral Home 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB from were the funeral will be held on Wednesday with service at 2 pm Visiting hours Tuesday 2-4, and 7-9 pm Donations to the charity of the donors choice would be appreciated by the family.
