GOLDWIND, DONALD GORDON The passing of Donald Gordon Goldwind Whitlock, husband of Wanda (McCutcheon) Laskey, occurred on Sunday, November 9, 2008 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on February 17, 1935, he was the son of the late Hazel (Sinnett) and Harry Whitlock. Donald worked for Devon Lumber for 35 years. Donald was a member of The Casa Group, Fredericton. He loved fishing and country music. Donald is survived by his daughter, Wanda Carpenter (Mike) of Weston, NB; two grandchildren, Misty and Brandon; three brothers, Irvine Whitlock (Jane) of Fredericton, NB, Carson Whitlock (Sharon) of Fredericton, NB, Marvin Whitlock (Aline) of Fredericton; one sister, Glenna Smart (Colin) of Fredericton, NB; one sister-in-law, Lois Whitlock of Fredericton and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 11, 2008 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. A Funeral Service will be held from York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, November 12, 2008 at 11am with Rev. Paul Thompson officiating. Interment will take place in the Penniac United Church Cemetery.
