ESTEY, CAROL ELAINE The passing of Carol Elaine Estey of Upper Durham, NB, occurred on Saturday, November 22, 2008 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on October 22, 1950 in Fredericton, NB, she was the daughter of the late Hanford and Kathleen (Sweeney) Estey. She was a member of St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church and a former member of Upper Durham's Women Institute. Carol is survived by her daughter, Mildred Mills (Theodore) of Fredericton, NB; grandson, Tee Jay Alexander Mills; brother, James Lindsay of Stanley, NB; best friend and companion, George Sweeney; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Carol was predeceased by her brothers, David, Rudolph and Richard Estey. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Sunday from 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service will take place at York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Monday, November 24, 2008 at 10 am with Rev. Paul Thompson officiating. Interment will take place in St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Cemetery, Stanley, NB at a later date.
