GALLINGER, MARION KATHLEEN DIANE It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Marion Gallinger at Moncton Hospital on December 2, 2008 following a long battle with pulmonary arterial hypertension. Marion leaves behind her loving husband Paul Gallinger; cherished daughter Susan Hunter (nee Gallinger); son-in-law John Hunter; grandchildren, Jordan and Kalleena Hunter; son Michael Gallinger; and daughter-in-law Susan Gallinger (nee Palen). Marion is survived by brothers, Allan and Glen Brooks; and sisters, Ruth Lewis and Lois Rowe. Born in Cherry Valley, Ontario Marion grew up in Picton. She dedicated her life to her family and devoted her final years to her grandchildren. An accomplished quilter and crafter, she was a member of the Oromocto Pioneer Quilter's Guild. Funeral arrangements include a visitation on Friday, December 5, 2008 from 7 to 9 pm at Oromocto Select Community Funeral Home at 108 Winnebago St (www.oromoctofh.com 357-5100) and a memorial service on Saturday at 2 pm with reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
