RAWN, CARL VERNON The death of Carl Vernon Rawn of Fredericton, NB, occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on Monday, December 8th, 2008. Born in Mount Forest, ON, he was the son of the late Everett and Marie (Cowan) Rawn and the husband of the late Bertha Rawn. Carl was a member of the RCMP for over 32 years. He was an active member of Wilmot United Church for many years and a member of the FSNA. Survived by one daughter, Nancy Beth Chase (Dale) of Fredericton; one son, David Rawn (Wanda) of Fredericton; three grandchildren, Matthew, Jonathan and Jacob; one brother, Lyle Rawn (Rita) of Mount Forest, ON; three sisters, Shirley Dodds (Hugh) of Durham ON and Myrna McTavish (Doug) of London, ON. Predeceased by his parents; wife, Bertha; their infant daughter; brothers, Fred and Ivan. Visitation will be at McAdam's Select Community Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 10th, 2008 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The memorial service will be held at Wilmot United Church on Thursday, December 11th, 2008 at 1:00 pm with Rev. Chris Levan officiating. Interment will be in the Fredericton Rural Cemetery at a later date.
