AL, MATTHEW THOMAS JAMES Matthew, a brother to Katherine and son of Gaye & Tom Al of Fredericton, died peacefully at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on Monday December 8, 2008. Matthew was born in St. John's Newfoundland in 1987. He was challenged with various disabilities for most of his life but he rose above it and enriched the lives of those around him. He will be dearly missed, but we will always be thankful for the perspective he brought to our lives, and for the people to whom he introduced us. We wish to express special thanks to the many wonderful teaching assistants and support workers who dedicated themselves to his daily care & activities over the years, and to the team of physicians, nurses and staff on the pediatrics ward at the Chalmers Hospital. These are extraordinary people and we have been privileged to have them in our lives. Resting at Bishop's Funeral Home Ltd., 540 Woodstock Road, Fredericton NB, were visitation will be held on Wednesday, from 7 to 9 PM only. Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at St. Paul's United Church on Thursday December 11th, at 2 Pm with Rev. Paul Ross officiating.
