MCCARTNEY ,EUGENE DENNIS Eugene Dennis McCartney of Royalton passed away on Wednesday, December 10, 2008 at the Carleton Manor in Woodstock. He was born in Moose Mountain on July 10, 1921 and was the son of the late Dennis and Mabel (Smith) McCartney. He was predeceased by his wives Iva (Graham) and Betty (McLusky) as well as his 12 siblings. Eugene is survived by his children; Murray (Monique) McCartney, Oromocto, NB, Llewellyn McCartney, Royalton, NB, Allison McCartney, Edmonton, AB, Marilyn (Brian) Brewer, Zealand, NB, James McCartney, Edmonton, AB, grandchildren; Dr. Andrew (Meredith) McCartney , Fredericton, NB, Christopher (Melissa) McCartney of Newburg, NB, Laura McCartney, Fredericton, NB, Michael McCartney, Royalton, NB, Stephen (Christa) McCartney, Fort McMurray, AB, Darwin McCartney, Edmonton, AB, great grandsons; Daniel McCartney, Fredericton, NB, Jackson McCartney, Newburg, NB, nieces and nephews. Resting at the Britton Funeral Home, High Street, Hartland with visiting hours on Friday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. from St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Bath.
