DONOVAN (LOGAN,BREWER), DELLA With profound sadness the family wishes to announce the death of Della A. Donovan (nee Pond) at Carleton Manor, Woodstock, NB on Tuesday, December 9, 2008. Born in Woodlands in 1925, she was the daughter of the late Otis and Lottie Pond. A former resident of Stanley and Fredericton, she leaves her daughter, Bonnie (Brewer) and her husband, Tom Sproull of Woodstock, NB; her son, Arthur Logan and his wife, Heather (Holt) of Stanley, NB; Dee is survived by her cherished grandchildren, Sonja (Sproull) Wright (Michael) of Florenceville, NB, John Sproull (Andrea Gormley) and James Sproull (Cindy MacBride) both of Ottawa, ON and Jordan Logan of Stanley, NB; her three great-grandchildren, Marcus Vaillancourt, Matthew Wright and Sarah Wright; three loving sisters also survive her, Roberta Willet, Whitby, ON, Glenna Pollock, Dartmouth, NS and Leota Henderson, Stanley, NB; Della was also a dear aunt to her many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by husbands, James Brewer, Roy Logan and Daryl Donovan; an infant son, Ralph; her brother, Cecil Pond; sisters, Ruby Harvey and Greta Cookson. The family will receive friends and relatives at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Saturday, December 13, 2008 from 1 to 3 pm prior to a celebration of her life at a Memorial Service in York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel at 3 pm with Rev. Kimberly Barlow officiating. Interment will take place in St. Peter's Presbyterian Church Cemetery later in the spring. The family wishes to offer a special thank you to the management and staff of Carleton Manor for their kindness and care of Dee.
