PALMER, GEORGE DOUGLAS "DOUG" George Douglas Palmer passed away at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital on January 3, 2009, age 78. Born in Lakeville Corner, NB, he was a son of the late George and Essie (Holmes) Palmer. Survived by three sons Stephen, David, and Cleveland Palmer; two daughters Robin and Judy Palmer; six sisters Vivian Howe, Alma Palmer, Daisy Lucus, Esther Miller, Josephine Miller, Pauline Marsh; sister-in-law Beulah Palmer; grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Predeceased by his parents, two brothers and a sister. Visitation at Bishop's Funeral Home (458-1885) on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. Memorial service from the Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday at 2 PM with Rev. Ivan Perry officiating. Honorary pallbearers are Darrell Chase and Lawrence Wasson. Interment in the spring.
