MACDONALD, DONALD GEORGE Jan.27, 1928- Jan.4, 2009 The death of Don MacDonald occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on Sunday, January, 4th, 2009. He was the son of the late George and Christina (MacDougall) MacDonald and husband to Linda Brewer of Nackawic, NB. Don was predeceased by his first wife, Colleen (Carten) MacDonald. Don is survived by his wife, Linda; his children, Virginia MacDonald of Calgary, AB and Susan MacDonald of Barachois, NB; step-children, Paula Allen of Lower Hainesville, NB and Pamela Allen-Munn (David) of Lower Woodland Road, NB; grandchildren, Nikki, Zack and Joseph; brothers, Richard McDonald and Ronald Begley both of Ontario as well as nieces, nephews and cousins. He will also be greatly missed by his best friend Norman Stephens (Joan) of Nashwaaksis, NB; several sisters and brothers-in-law and many great friends who will sadly miss him. There will be no visitation by request. A memorial service will occur at McAdam's Select Community Funeral Home on Wednesday, January, 7th, 2009 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Hubert Perkins officiating. Interment will take place in the Hermitage Cemetery. For those who wish, donations made to the IWK or to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
