TRAIL, CHESTER ARNOLD Chester A. Trail of Woodstock and formerly of Temperance Vale, NB passed away January 19, 2009 at Upper River Valley Hospital. Born in 1940 at Temperance Vale, he was a son of the late Ralph and Florence (Hallett) Trail. Chester was a truck driver and he enjoyed attending local dances. Chester is survived by his children; Vincent Trail (Jolene), Fredericton, Normagene Chase (Mark), Hawkins Corner, Chris Trail (Loretta), Temperance Vale, Tony Trail, Bull Lake and Shelly Morgan (Lester), Hainesville; special friend, Joyce Price, Woodstock; two brothers, Gerald Trail and Perley Trail , both of Temperance Vale; two sisters, Doris Trail (Gary), Woodstock and Leona Porter (Richard), Newburg; eight grandchildren, Adam Morgan, Cole Morgan, Mark Chase Jr., Stephanie Morgan, Jeremy Chase, Coltin Trail, Katlynn Trail and Hayley Shotanus-Trail; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a nephew, Dana Trail. Visiting hours will be held at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis Drive, Nackawic on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 22, 2009 at 2 pm from the funeral home chapel with Rev. Robert Johnson officiating. Interment will be later at Temperance Vale Cemetery. A reception will follow at Nackawic Lions Club. Honorary pallbearer will be John Spavold. Active pallbearers will be Matthew Christie, Zenas Thornton, Gary Trail, Harvey Rideout, Dale Burpee and Wayne Chase.
