MCCARVILLE, ANNE THERESE Anne Therese McCarville, 1934-2009, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 28, 2009 at the Saint John Regional Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Born in Summerside on July 29, 1934 she was the daughter of the late John M. and Violet (McCabe) Mulligan. Anne is survived by her beloved husband Vernon of 54 years; and her eight children, Ronald of Edmonton, Gary (Louise) of Fredericton, Kevin (Alice), Paul (Moira), Susan, Heather (Terry) Langille, Mary (Peter) Jensen, Paula (Jamie) Hargraves all of Saint John; 13 grandchildren, Michael, Ryan, Nicole, Christopher (Jill), Melissa (Dylan Stark), Shaun (Erin), Elizabeth, David, Joseph, John, Nicholas, Bree, Evelyn; two great grandchildren, Hannah and Mason; three sisters, Elizabeth (Leonard) Murphy of Cornwall PEI; Margaret (Raymond - deceased) Spenard of Montreal, Rosemarie (Michael) Powley of Vancouver; one brother Jack (Alta) Mulligan of Charlottetown; brothers and sisters-in-law Elmer (Elaine), Frank (Joan), Al (Carol), Orveline (Cody - deceased) Myers and Camilla (Harley - deceased) Howatt all of Prince Edward Island and many nieces and nephews. Anne was an active member of UCT Jack Kidd Council 755 and was a member of the St. Joachim's CWL. Anne worked in several nursing homes prior to going to work at the Saint John General Hospital as a ward aide after the move to the Saint John Regional Hospital Anne became a supervisor in the Dietary Department where she retired in 1999. Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John, N.B. with visitation 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm Thursday and 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm Friday. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Joachim's Catholic Church Saturday, January 31, 2009 at 10:00 am. Interment to follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery. Memorials to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Palliative Care Unit of the Saint John Regional Hospital or a charity of the donor's choice.
