ARSENEAU, ESME THORA The death of Esme Thora Arseneau of Fredericton, NB, occurred at Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on Wednesday, February 11th, 2009. She was born in Worthing, England, the daughter of the late Albert and Elsie (Knight) Jackson and the wife of the late Arthur Arseneau. Esme was a War Bride having lived in Springhill, NS for a few years before moving to Fredericton where she worked for Zellers as a Supervisor for over 25 years before retiring. She cherished time spent with family especially her grandchildren and great grandson. She loved playing cards, going to the beach and especially shopping. She will be sadly missed by her children, Marilyn of New Maryland and her son, Arthur (Kathryn) of Point de Bute, NB; grandchildren Jason (Crystal), Geoffrey (Beth) and Jillian (Nathan Phinney); great- grandson Sean; one brother, Ernest Jackson of England; very special nephew, David (Audrey) Ford and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents; husband, Arthur; son, Richard, and two sisters. There will be no visitation by request. The funeral service will be held at the J. A. McAdam Memorial Chapel on Friday, February 13th, 2009 at 2:00 pm. Rev. Mark Trzop will officiate. Interment will be in the Hermitage Cemetery at a later date.
