GARDNER, KATHLEEN AGNES A prayer of thanksgiving is offered for the life and love of Kathleen Agnes Gardner (nee Whirty) of McAdam, N.B., who passed away February 10, at the age of 93 years. Born in DeWolfe, N.B. on January 19, 1916, only daughter of George and Bryna Whirty (nee Nesbitt). Predeceased by her husband Vincent Robert Gardner, infant sons Wayne and Clayton, and brother Ralph Whirty. Left to cherish her life, son Andrew (Brenda) and granddaughters Bryna and Bailey of Keswick Ridge, NB. Daughter Lynnette Murphy (Denis) of Mount Pearl, NL., grandsons Matthew Murphy of Calgary, AB. and Anthony Murphy of Toronto, Ont. Also survived by brother Allan Whirty (Annie) of Old Ridge, N.B. and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Lovingly remembered by dearest friend Alice Tracey (Terry) of McAdam, N.B. Kathleen was a devoted member and Past Matron of York Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star, McAdam, of Rebekah Lodge, I O D E, and the Daughters of the Nile, St. John Chapter. Resting at Rockland Drive United Baptist Church, McAdam with visitation Friday February 13 from 2 to 4 PM and 7 to 9PM. Eastern Star Service on Friday February 13, 6:30 PM. Funeral Service Saturday February 14 at 2 PM with interment to follow at Rockland Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made in Kathleen's name to a charity of ones choice.
