REV. LAURIE "PUPPY" MUNN

MUNN, REV. LAURIE "PUPPY" The passing of Rev. Laurie "Puppy" Munn, husband of Doris Munn occurred on Friday, February 13, 2009 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on November 21, 1936 in Carroll's Crossing, NB, he was the son of the late Chester and Mary (O'Donnell) Munn. Laurie was a minister for many years. He was a member of the Calvary Pentecostal Church, former member of the Orange Lodge, Honorary Life Member of the Emanuel Fellowship and was a crossing guard for the Fredericton City Police. In addition to his wife, Laurie is survived by his two sons; Randy (Vicki) Munn of Fredericton, NB, Donnie (Sharon) of Hampton, NB, two daughters; Charlena (Clinton McKay) Munn of Fort McMurray, AB, Beth (Darrell) Williams of Monticello, ME, one sister; Shirley (Stan) Finney of Lincoln, NB, thirteen grandchildren, five great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Laurie was predeceased by one son; Mark Munn, three brothers; Burton, Allen and Wally Munn and one sister; Pauline Gallan. Although there will be no visitation as requested by the family. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, February 17, 2009 at 2pm from the Victory Tabarnacle Church, 143 Douglas Ave. Fredericton NB, with Rev. Albert Galbraith officiating.
