DAVIS, WALTER BRUCE Walter B. Davis of Moncton passed at the Moncton Hospital on February 15, 2009 into the loving arms of his wife, Elva M. (Graham) Davis who went on to God February 17, 2006. Born at Springhill, NS in 1934, he was a son of the late William and Rose (Ryan) Davis. Walter is survived by two daughters, Charlene Austin and Krista Davis, both of Moncton; a son, Michael Davis, Calgary, AB; six grandchildren, Matthew, Zachary, Emily, Dorian, Katrina and Tristan; two brothers, Billy Davis (Doris), Riverview and Fred Davis (Carol), Amherst, NS; one sister, Rosanna VanDerwalh (John), Crapaud, PE; three sisters-in-law, Ruby Derrick, Woodstock, Nadine Graham, Fredericton and Annie Graham, Maugerville; several nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be held at St. Mark's United Church, 99 Main Street, Canterbury on Saturday, February 21, 2009 from 1 p.m. to the hour of funeral service at 3 p.m. with Rev. Dr. Beverly C. S. Brazier officiating. Interment will take place later at Canterbury Cemetery. For those who wish to make a donation in memory of Walter, the family has suggested the NB Heart and Stoke Foundation.
