DENISE BONGARD

BONGARD, DENISE Denise (Lavoie) Bongard of Fredericton, NB, wife of Lyle Bongard, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on February 20th, 2009 at the age of 58. Born in Woodstock, NB she was the daughter of Vera Lavoie and the late Lawrence Lavoie. Denise will be remembered as an independent business woman and a loyal employee. She enjoyed travelling, spending time with her family and friends as well as her time at the little camp on the Taxis River. She also enjoyed quiet times by the homefire with her husband, Lyle and her family pets. She is survived by her loving husband Lyle, her mother Vera; two sons, Rob Deap and his wife Tanya, and David Deap and his wife Melissa and granddaughter Sadie all of Fredericton, NB; one sister, Connie Bossence and her husband Bob of Corunna, ON; three brothers, LJ Lavoie of Truro, NS, Terry Lavoie of Calgary, AB, and Paul Lavoie of Fredericton, NB. The family wish to thank Dr. Grant and Dr. Bruce and the nurses of the Dr. Everett Chalmers Palliative Care Unit for their great and understanding care Denise received in her final days. Following cremation, the family will receive visitors at McAdam's Select Community Funeral Home, 160 York Street, Fredericton, on Wednesday, February 25th, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Dunstan's Roman Catholic Church on Thursday, February 26th, 2009 at 12:00 noon with Fr. Gerry White as Celebrant and Fr. John Jennings as Con-celebrant. In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes made to the SPCA or phoenixtears.ca would be appreciated by the family. www.mcadamsfh.com
