CANAVAN, MICHAEL ALEXANDER The death of Michael Alexander Canavan of Fredericton, NB occurred Monday, March 2nd, 2009 at the Chalmers Regional Hospital. He was the son of the late Stanley Canavan and Myra (Crews) Kennedy. Survived by his loving wife Nancy (McKay) Canavan; a son, Michael (Sherry); a daughter, Robin (Chris) Tapley all of Fredericton; a granddaughter, Alexanderia Canavan; a great granddaughter, Tianna Arnold; special four legged friend Peppy; brothers and Sisters; Blake Canavan (Carol) of Cape Breton; Roy Kennedy (Audrey) of Barrie, ON, Elsie Kennedy (Martin) of Vancouver, Johnny Kennedy (Diane), Danny Kennedy (Tina), Faye Paige (Gordie), Juannita McKeigan (Jeff) and Phillis Drinkwater (Richie) all of Cape Breton, NS; many nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, Michael was predeceased by a brother Tommy Kennedy and by his four legged friends, Mickey, Samatha Jane, John Boy and Topanga. Resting at McAdam's Funeral Home with visiting on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. Funeral Service will be held 7:00PM Thursday evening, March 5th, 2009 from J. A. McAdam memorial Chapel with Rev. John Cathcart officiating. Interment will take place in the Ripples Community Cemetery at a later date.
