LESLIE, (GASS) MARY: It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mary (Gass) Leslie on March 4, 2009 at the Victoria General Hospital in Halifax where she fought a 6 month battle with cancer. Mary was born in Harvey on Dec 30, 1961. After graduating from McAdam High School she moved to Halifax and has resided in Fall River for the past 10 years. Mary is survived by her husband Colin Leslie, her two young children Brandon and Paige at home, her mother Vercelia Gass, two brothers, Lawrence (Carole) Gass of McAdam, Randford (Jean) Gass of Harvey, one sister Marsha (Peter) Davis of Fredericton and nieces Tracey Pare, Tara Gass, Heather Gass, Sara Davies and nephews Michael Gass and Matthew Davis. Mary was a fun loving person who loved her family and her many close friends. She enjoyed her job with Security at the Halifax International Airport, coming home to visit in McAdam and her time at the camp at Oromocto Lake. She was predeceased by her father George Wallace (Mike) Gass. A celebration of her life will be held at St. Johns United Church, Lake Thomas Road, Fall River, NS on Monday, March 9 at 2:00pm.
