AUBREY JOSEPH MAZERALL

MAZERALL, AUBREY JOSEPH Aubrey passed away peacefully at White Rapids Manor Nursing Home on March 6, after a period of failing health, at the age of 92. Aubrey was born in Mazerolle Settlement July 23, 1917. He was the son of Alexander (Sandy) Mazerall and Dora (Essensa) Mazerall. Aubrey was the oldest of 11 children. He is survived by two brothers; Robert (Blanche) of Hanwell, Maurice (Mavis) of Doak Road, Fredericton; and four sisters; Rhona Ridgeway of Ottawa, Glenna La Pointe of Victoria, Rhea Reilly of Charters Settlement, Pearl Kenny of Flanagan Rd, Fredericton; many nieces and nephews; two sisters-in-law Doreen Mazerall and Merna Holland. In addition to his parents Aubrey was predeceased by three brothers; Stanley, Lewis, and Charles; and one sister, Marion Boyle and her husband Kenneth Boyle. Aubrey was always willing to lend a helping hand. Aubrey enjoyed playing cards with friends, and going to card parties and other social events. He enjoyed the outdoors. He enjoyed vegetable gardening, hunting, and fishing. Aubrey retired in Hanwell after many years of working in the pulp and logging industry and had spent several years logging in B.C. He enjoyed telling stories of his time spent working in the woods. Aubrey's wishes were to have his body dedicated to The Dalhousie Health Sciences Center in Halifax. There will be no visitation. Services for Aubrey will be announced at a later date. Donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association in Aubrey's memory.
