RONALD LESTER GODSOE

GODSOE, RONALD LESTER The passing of Ronald Lester Godsoe, of Scotch Lake, husband of Ethel (Moore) Godsoe, occurred on March 13, 2009 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on July 12, 1938 in Lower Hainesville, he was a son of the late Lester and E. Pauline (Hanson) Godsoe. Ronald was a Heavy Equipment Operator for Charmac. He was an active member of Mactaquac Baptist Church. Ronald enjoyed camping and the outdoors. He will be remembered for his great sense of humour. He loved spending time with his grandchildren. Besides his wife, he is survived by his daughters, Samantha Morehouse (Billy) and Shyanne Godsoe (Troy Brown) all of Scotch Lake, Wendy Morehouse (Craig) of Zealand; grandchildren, Rachel, Crystal, Brandon, Megan, Tristan, Rebecca, Emily; great grandchildren, Keyonna and Keira; step mom, Lois Godsoe; sisters, Paulette Fox of Lower Hainesville, Marie Burtt of Fredericton; brother, Arnold Godsoe (Margaret) of Campbellton; step sisters, Hope (Darel) of Fredericton, Sheila (Steven) of Hainesville and Roseanne (Henry); step brother, Terry (Beth) of Nackawic; several nieces and nephews; his hound dog, Annie. Visitation will take place at Mactaquac Baptist Church on Saturday, March 14, 2009 from 7 to 9 pm and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held from Mactaquac Baptist Church on Monday, March 16, 2009 at 2 pm with Rev. Chad Fletcher officiating. Pallbearers are Tawney Moore, Rose Carr, Tim and Kenny Holyoke, Crystal Morehouse and Megan Godsoe. Interment will take place at Scotch Settlement Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the church would be appreciated by the family. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
