BREWER, ROSSLYN D. G. The death of Rosslyn Darrell Giberson Brewer, of Chipman and formerly of Bristol, occurred on March 16, 2009 at the Wauklehegan Manor in McAdam, NB. Born on September 3, 1916, he was the son of the late Traverse and Alice (Giberson) Brewer and husband to the late Viola (Crawford) Brewer. Rosslyn was an avid gardener and cook. He lived in Bristol from 1916 until he moved to Chipman in 1972. Rosslyn is survived by his five children, Crawford Brewer of Moncton, David Brewer of Grand Manan, Miriam Crowell of Fredericton, Phillip Brewer of Saint John and Darrell Brewer of Fredericton; 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents, wife, one brother Tennyson, two sisters Viola and Vesta, and son-in-law Barry Crowell. Visitation will be held at L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors 207 Burnham Rd. Florenceville on Wednesday, March 18, 2009 from 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be on Thursday, March 19th at 1:00pm from the funeral home chapel. Rev. Philip Crossman will be officiating.
