TOMILSON, GEORGENE BARBARA Surrounded by her loving family, Georgene Barbara (nee Flemming) (Gourley) Tomilson of Fredericton, NB, wife of the late Keith Tomilson, passed on March 26, 2009 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on September 25, 1919 in Douglas, NB, she was a daughter of the late Gordon and Lyna (Hawkins) Flemming. Georgene retired as a travel agent from Cherry's Travel Agency. She was affiliated with Nashwaaksis United Church, a 50 year member of the Rebekah Lodge, was active in sports like curling, bowling and golf and was a member of the Fredericton Senior Shuffle Board Club. Georgene is survived by two daughters, Barbara Mills (David) of Royal Road, NB and Linda McKeown (Victor) of Fredericton, NB; three sons, Edward (Carol) and David (Verna) Gourley both of Fredericton, NB and Dennis (Barbara) Gourley of London, ON; daughter-in-law, Philippa Gourley of Fredericton, NB; 11 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; one step-daughter, Gloria MacDonald (Orlie) of Fredericton, NB; one step-son, Donald Tomilson of BC; one sister, Loena Todd of Douglas, NB; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her first husband, Winston Gourley; son, Neville Gourley; sisters, Madeline Jarvis and Audrey Francis; brother, Lorence Flemming. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Saturday, March 28, 2009 from 2 to 4 pm. A Funeral Service will be held from York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Sunday, March 29, 2009 at 2 pm with Rev. Gil MacKenzie officiating. Interment will take place at St. John Anglican Church Cemetery, Main Street at a later date.
