UNDERHILL, G. GAYE RN The death of G. Gaye Underhill RN, wife of Garth Underhill of Blackville, NB, occurred on Sunday, March 29, 2009 at her late residence. Born in Newcastle, NB, she is the daughter of Bertha (Byrdie) (Touchie) Walls of Blackville and the late Eric Walls. Gaye was a member of St. Andrew's United Church, Blackville, a member of the church session, a registered nurse who worked at the Hotel Dieu Hosptial, Atlantic Institution, Renous and VON, was actively involved in the NB Nurses Union and was a past leader of the CGIT. Besides her husband: Garth and mother: Bertha (Byrdie), she is survived by: two daughters: Melissa Jane at home; Stefanie Ann of Saint John, NB; two sisters: Kathy Campbell (Earl) and Carol Ann Underhill (Kevin) all of Douglastown, NB; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive visitors at St. Andrew's United Church Hall, Blackville, NB, on Tuesday, March 31, 2009 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. The funeral service will be held from St. Andrew's United Church, Blackville on Wednesday, April 1, 2009 at 2 PM with Penny Postlewaithe officiating.
