BLANCHE ELIZABETH LISTON
LISTON, BLANCHE ELIZABETH Blanche E. Liston of Dumfries passed away April 5, 2009 at the home of her daughter in Dumfries. Born in 1919 at Upper Hainesville, she was a daughter of the late Wilson I. and Edith M. (Thompson) Hagerman. Blanche loved family gatherings and her pets. Blanche is survived by her daughter, Diane Upshall (John), Davidson Lake; six sons, Edward Liston, Barony, David Liston (Shirley), Rossville, Lorne Liston (Debbie), Perth Andover, Gary Liston (Gail), Davidson Lake, Jimmy Liston (Nola), Woodstock and Brian Liston (Beverly), Barony; fourteen grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and eight great great grandchildren; one sister, Della White (Ward), New Maryland; two brothers, Harry Hagerman, Temperance Vale and Alfred Hagerman, Campbell Settlement; a sister-in-law, Wilma Hagerman, Barony; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Blanche was predeceased by her husband, Clifford J. Liston; one daughter, Julia Johnston; a son, Darrell Liston; grandchildren, Larry Johnston and Stacy Liston; four brothers, Donald, Norman, Harold and George Hagerman; three sisters, Margaret Clark, Pearl Carten and infant Pauline. Visiting hours will be held at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis Drive, Nackawic on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, April 8, 2009 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Carl and Evelyn Brewer officiating. Interment will be later at Barony Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Donnie Moorcroft, Jeremy Liston, Randy Johnston, Jacques Belanger, Steven Liston and Roger Liston.
