LACEY, VINCE G. July 2, 1966 - April 7, 2009 With hearts filled with admiration for the courageous battle fought and heavy with sadness for the battle lost, the family of Vince Lacey of Riverview announces his passing at the Moncton Hospital April 7, 2009. Beloved husband of Lisa and devoted father to Ryan, Miranda and Abby, Vince is also missed by his parents Al and Norma, his siblings Liana (Trent), Mark (Stephanie) and Kim (Shane) all of Fredericton and his in-laws Fred and Donna Thorburn, Cindi ( Ron) and Dave. He is known as "Uncle" to Zack and Lacey, Jennifer and David, Victoria and Colin, Willem and Miles, each held a special place in his heart. Vince touched many lives through his work in the heavy equipment industry- most recently with Wallace Equipment and his community involvement- Scouting, Soccer, Bethel Presbyterian Church and especially Riverview Minor Basketball. He cherished his time with "the kids" - his own and many others. We will always remember his kindness, compassion, his humor and his laugh. "We had some fun". We love you Vince! Visitation will take place from Cobb's Funeral Home and Cremation Center , 330 Whitepine Road, Riverview, NB (869-2007) on Thursday from 7 to 9 and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. The funeral service will take place on Saturday at 11:00 AM from Cobb's Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Rev. Charles Cook and Father John Jennings officiating.
