STILLWELL, JOAN ARDISS Joan Ardiss Stillwell, beloved wife of the late Robert Cleveland Stillwell passed away peacefully at the Dr. Chalmers Regional Hospital on April 9, 2009. Born January 21,1935 in Stanley Section, NS, she was a daughter of the late LeRoy and Jessie (Lyons) Seamone. Joan was retired from the Royal Bank of Canada after 35 years of service and was an avid Bingo player. Survived by her daughter Julia of Fredericton; sons Thomas of Fredericton, and David (Beth) of Saint John; brothers Gerald (Joyce) of Pinehurst, NS and Ronald (Arlene) of Stanley Section, NS; three grandchildren; three great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents Joan was predeceased by a son Stephen. Although there will be no visitation, a funeral service will be held from Bishop's Funeral Home Chapel on Monday April 13, 2009 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Doug Hapeman officiating. Interment at a later date. A reception will be held immediately following the service. In Joan's memory memorials may be made to the SPCA.
