FAIRLEY, KENNETH HERBERT The passing of Kenneth Herbert "Ken" Fairley of Marysville, NB, husband of Betty (Wood) Fairley occurred on April 16th, 2009 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on January 3rd, 1934 in Fredericton, NB, he was the son of the late Herbert and Violet (Woodcock) Fairley. Ken worked as a mechanic for the City of Fredericton. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 15, Marysville. Ken loved fishing and playing crib. In addition to his wife, Betty, Ken is survived by his daughters, Wendy Estey of Geary, NB and Sheila Amos of Marysville, NB; sons Ken (Barbara), James, Ricky (Linda) and Perry all of Fredericton, NB; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren; sisters, Evelyn Wood and Dorothy Duff, both of McGivney, NB and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Ken was predeceased by his brothers, James and Wesley. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Saturday, April 18th, 2009 from 2 to 4 pm. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation, Canadian Diabetes Association or the charity of the donor's choice.
