GIBBONS, SHIRLEY MAXINE (MURRAY) The death of Shirley Gibbons occurred on April 19th, 2009 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born August 6th, 1936 she was the daughter of the late John and Helen (McCordick) Murray. Shirley is survived by her children, Dale Gibbons (Bonita McHatten), MaryBeth Gibbons, Sherry Gibbons (Joanne Martin) and Stacey Lyons (Kendall); grandchildren, Kayla McHatten, Jennifer Smith, Cohen Lyons and Dexter Lyons; siblings, Dawn Smith, William Murray (Betty) and Dave Murray (Shirley). She will be missed by many beloved friends and family members. She is also predeceased by her sisters, Della Steen and Rita Murray (twin) as well as her brother, John (Jack) Murray. Visitation will be held at McAdams Select Community Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 22nd, 2009 from 7 to 9 pm. A memorial service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Thursday, April 23rd, 2009 at 2:00 pm with The Ven. John Sharpe officiating. Interment will take place in the Fredericton Rural Cemetery immediately following the service.
