KENNEY, RONALD EARL The death of Ronald Earl Kenney of Rusagonis, NB at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on April 29, 2009. Born in Knowlesville, NB, he was the son of Everett and Ethel (Branscombe) Kenney and the husband of Patricia (Grasse) Kenney. Ron was a member of the Elks Lodge #274 for many years. He was a loving and supportive husband, father, grandfather and friend. He will be sadly missed by his family and many friends. Survived by his loving wife, Patricia; his children, David Kenney (Kathy) of Rusagonis, Anne Phillips (Delbert) of Rusagonis, Sandra Waite (Wilfred) of Oromocto, Ardith Martin (Norman) of Waterborough, and Ronda Laing (Norman) Goose Bay, NL; grandchildren, Jessica, Andrew, Sarah, April, Kirk, Karen, William (Janet) Jordan and Jamie; great -grandchildren; Hailey and Brian; four brothers, Frederick (Iola) of Upper Brighton, Gerald of Bath, Norval (Faye) of Lansdowne; two sisters, Willa Kenney of Woodstock and Shirley Biggar of Perth Andover, NB. He was predeceased by his parents, one brother, Maynard and infant sister, Queenie. Visitation will be held at Oromocto Select Community Funeral Home on Friday, May 1st, 2009 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held at the Rusagonis Baptist Church on Saturday, May 2nd, 2009 at 2 pm. Rev. Brent MacDonald will officiate. Interment will be in the Waasis Cemetery at a later date.
