PRESBY, GEORGE PATRICK Born May 2, 1957 in Sydney NS., passed away peacefully on April 28, 2009 at the Chinook Regional Hospital, Lethbridge, AB after a lengthy battle with illnesses. George attended schools in both Cape Breton and Fredericton before moving to Calgary in 1975. He received his diploma from Southern Alberta Technical School (SAIT) in 1986 and began working in Lethbridge for CFAC-TV (Global Television) until forced to retire due to illness. George is survived by his daughter Ashley and her mother Winnie of Lethbridge AB; his mother Martha Taylor (Bob) of Fredericton, father, George (Debi Sullivan) St. Peters, Cape Breton, three brothers Donald (Beth), Fredericton NB; Tony (Fatima) Vancouver BC; Russell (Wendy) Pincher Creek, AB; three sisters Patricia (Bill) Deer Island, NB; Margaret Anne (Neil) Fredericton, NB; Melanie Fredericton, NB; grandmother Rose Rank, Aurora, ON; aunts Carol Cook (Carl) and Anne Leaist both of Ontario and uncle Matthew Donovan (Patricia) of Coxheath, Cape Breton as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Family and friends attended an open house reception at Cornerstone Funeral Home and Crematorium 2800 Mayor MaGrath Drive South, Lethbridge AB on Friday, May 1, 2009. Memorial contributions in memory of George may be made to a charity of the donors choice.
