DOWNEY, MARIE MARJORIE The passing of Marie M. Downey of Hanwell, NB occurred at the Dr. Chalmers Regional Hospital, Fredericton, NB on Sunday, May 10th, 2009. She was 82. Born at Oak Mountain, Debec, NB, NB, she was a daughter of the late David and Annie (Horton) MacPherson and wife of the late Ephram John Downey. Marie was a member of St. James Presbyterian Church. She loved doing puzzles and enjoyed reading. A loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she is survived by her daughters Barbara Ketch (Aubrey) of Kelowna BC, Nadine Anderson (Lloyd of Hanwell, NB and Diana Sheaves of Woodstock, NB; son Dale (Diana) of Salt Spring, BC; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two great great grandchild. Predeceased by her daughters Theresa and Jocelyn, and sister Connie Hoyt. At Marie's request there will be no visitation or funeral service.
