LONDON, SHIRLEY MADELINE The passing of Shirley Madeline (McCain Monteith) London occurred at the York Manor Nursing Home on Thursday, May 14th, 2009 at the age of 84. Born April 11, 1925 in Hartland, NB she was the daughter of the late Raymond ( Mary Cook) McCain. Shirley was predeceased by her first husband Gerald Monteith and second husband Ray London. Grandson Darren Clark and great granddaughter Courtney Clark, several Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. Shirley is survived by three sons James (Rita) Monteith of Fredericton, NB; Brent (Lois) Monteith of Woodstock, NB; Randy (Roxanne) Monteith of Grafton, NB; two daughters Mary Jane Ward (Gerald) of Lake George; Cheryl Ann Douthwright (Peter) of Quispamsis, NB; step-children Gerald London (Melanie) of Kanata, On; Brent ( Paula ) London of Dartmouth, NS ; and Jean Ross (Ralph) of Montreal; eleven grandchildren, four step grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, three step great-grandchildren, several cousins and one aunt Margaret Cook of Woodstock; brother in-law Oliver (Heloise) Monteith of Grafton. NB; sister in-law Marie (Basil) Lawrence of Woodstock, NB; Shirley was a member of the Woodstock Baptist Church, and the Carleton Memorial Hospital Nurses Alumni and the Eastern Star. Visitation will be held on Friday May 15th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm at the Scott Funeral Home, Woodstock ,NB. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday at 2 pm from the Scott Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Leonard Cousins will be officiating with internment in the Kirk Cemetery, Northampton, NB.
