KEOW, LEAN-HOOI The passing of Lean-Hooi Keow, of Fredericton, NB, husband of Ai-Hwa (Ding) Keow, occurred on Sunday, May 17, 2009 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Lean-Hooi was born in Malaysia on January 1, 1935 and was a self employed farmer. He was a member of Kingswood and New Body's fitness centers and enjoyed cycling and fishing. In addition to his wife, Lean-Hooi is survived by two daughters, Seline (Des) Loy Chong of Chong's Place Restaurant (Brookside) and Joyce (Victor) Lee of Malaysia; three sons, David (Yen) Keow of Islandview, NB, Jamie (Lorna Sheehan)Keow of Saint John, NB and Chek Hoe (Liew Poh Sum) Keow of Malaysia; ten grandchildren, Jasmine, Lydia, Abbey, Jonathan, Samantha, Lee-Jia-Chi, Lee-Jia-Yin, Lee-Wei-Han, Alicia and Alina; five siblings. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Monday, May 18, 2009 from 12 to 2 pm. A Funeral Service will take place from the funeral home at 2 pm. For those who wish, remembrances made to the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital Foundation Palliative Care Unit or to the charity of the donor's choice and would be appreciated by the family.
