JORDAN, DONALD FLOYD The passing of Donald Floyd Jordan of Royal Road, NB, husband of Edna Jordan occurred on Friday, May 15, 2009 at Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born January 26, 1933, in Argyle, NB, Donald was a son of the late Charles and Ethel (Sewell) Jordan. As a member of the Devon Park Baptist Church, Donald was a part of Caleb's Clan, Awana, helped with the nursery and drove the church bus for the Youth Group. Donald was a heavy equipment operator for Bemrose and Kilburn and drove truck with Sunbury Transport. He worked with Truckers for Christ for several years and enjoyed fishing. In addition to his wife, Donald is survived by sons, Terry (Sherry) and Brian (Tracie); siblings, Ruth Sarchfield (Don), Laura Rogers (Frank), Irene Waugh (Murray), Walter Jordan (Libby), Donnie Grant, Becky Grant (John), Levi Grant, Steven Grant (Anna) and Robert Grant (Pam); grandchildren, Kayla, Nichole, Emma, Aaron and Emma; special friends, Ercell Sarchfield and Glen Hossack; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Donald was predeceased by his stepfather, Levi Grant; a son, Kenneth; and a brother, Bob. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Saturday, May 16, 2009 from 6 to 9 pm and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service will take place at Devon Park Baptist Church on Monday, May 18, 2009 at 2 pm with Rev. Terry Woodcock officiating and Rev. Matthew Porter assisting. A private family interment will follow the reception. For those who wish, donations may be made to Devon Park Baptist Church Building Fund or Living Waters Bible Camp and would be appreciated by the family.
