MILDRED JOAN FLANAGAN

FLANAGAN, MILDRED JOAN The death of Mildred Joan Flanagan (Butcher) of Fredericton, NB, occurred at the Pine Grove Nursing Home on Tuesday, May 26, 2009. Born in Kent, England she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Ethel (Giles) Butcher and the wife of the late Joseph Flanagan. Joan was a veteran of WW11, serving as a leading aircraft woman with the RAF Survived by one son, Mickey Flanagan (Betty Lou) of Fredericton, NB; two daughters, Maureen Dick (David) of Fredericton and Carole Binkley of Brockville, ON; six grandchildren; five Great- grandchildren, one sister, Betty Chantler (Pete) of England, UK. also several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents and one brother, Frederick Butcher. Visitation will be held at McAdam's Select Community Funeral Home on Friday, May 29, 2009 from 7 to 9 pm. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Anthony's Catholic Church on Saturday, May 30, 2009 at 10:00 am with Rev. Monte Peters as Celebrant Interment will be in the Forest Hill Cemetery Field of Honor. For those who wish, memorial tributes may be made to the IWK Children's Hospital or the charity of the donor's choice. www.mcadamsfh.com
