BARRY, MARIE ESTELLE The death of Marie (Wood) Barry occurred on Friday, May 29th, 2009 at her residence in Fredericton, NB. She was the daughter of the late George and Mary (Murphy) Wood and wife of the late Joseph Barry. Marie is survived by her children, JoAnn Gallagher (Greg) of Fredericton, NB, Nancy Lee Wilson (Paul) of Halifax, NS and Michael Barry (Cindy) of Aurora, ON; eleven grandchildren and five siblings. She was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Joseph; her daughter, Mary Lou Morgan and six siblings. For many years, Marie was employed at the CIBC and was involved as a member of The Kinettes, CWL and Devon Seniors. She enjoyed baking, knitting and doing puzzles. For the past two years, Marie lived in a senior's complex on McKnight Street and made many new friends. She and her husband enjoyed playing bridge and this passion continued with Marie playing weekly with the same loyal group for over twenty-five years. Visitation will be held at McAdam's Select Community Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 2nd, 2009 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Anthony's Catholic Church on Wednesday, June 3rd, 2009 at 11:00 am with Fr. Monte Peters as celebrant. Interment is to take place in the Sunny Bank Cemetery.
