SMITH, PAUL EDWARD 1919 - 2009 On June 12, 2009 Paul Smith, of Bristol NB, passed away peacefully and quietly at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born in Arthurette NB on September 22, 1919, he was the son of the late Thomas and Grace (Lockhart) Smith. He is survived by his six children, Ruth (Errol) Nicholson, Robert (Carla) Smith, Katharine Smith, Thomas (Safe) Smith, William (Monique) Smith, Barbara Tattersall and two step-children, Aubrey (Rose) Hayden and Barbara (Donald) Brown, six brothers, Masden (Gertrude) Smith, Morris (Kay) Smith, Donald (Mona) Smith, Raymond (Shirley) Smith, Lowell (Shirley) Smith, Royce (Joan) Smith, one sister, Dorothy Christie, twenty-three grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren and his very special canine companion, Deedee. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Myrtle Lepage, three sisters, Flossie Tomlinson, Ethel O'Neil and Audrey Murphy, two brothers, Kenneth and Ross Smith and a granddaughter, Laurie Coy. Funeral services on Monday, June 15, 2009 from the L.R. Giberson Funeral Chapel at 2:00 pm with Rev. Carl Brewer officiating. Internment will be in the Bristol Community Cemetery with a reception following at the Florenceville Motor Inn.
