FAIRLEY, MAISIE ISABELL The passing of Maisie Fairley, of McGivney, NB, occurred on Saturday, June 13, 2009 at home. Born on February 20, 1939 she was a daughter of the late James and Fern (Greer) Peterson. Maisie was a member of South Portage Baptist Bible Church. She worked at Nashwaak Bridge and Boiestown Irving's for several years. Maisie enjoyed playing bingo and spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren. Maisie will be greatly missed by her best friend and companion, Elva Munn; special daughter, friend, and loving caregiver, Jeanie Lovelace. Her children, Michael (Patsy) Fairley, Sherry (Joey Staples), Lisa Courtney (Tony), Kim Thorne (Jim), Stacey and Jennifer Fairley, special daughter and friend, Jeanie Lovelace (Danny); 17 grandchildren; three great grandchildren; one sister, Eileen Ross (Doug) three brothers, Claude (Bonnie) Peterson, Bliss (Shirley) Peterson and Hal (Edna) Peterson; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Joseph Fairley, Maisie was predeceased by three sisters, Marie, Donna and Paulette; three brothers, Allan, Eugene and James Visitation wil l take place at YorkFuneral Home 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Monday, June 15, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held from South Portage Baptist Bible Church, Nashwaak Bridge, NB on Tuesday, June 16, 2009 at 2 pm with Pastor Pat McAloon officiating and Rev. Bob Dunlop assisting. Pallbearers for the service will be Bliss Peterson, Peter Duff, Carl Munn, Danny Lovelace, Headley Cowie and Arden Fairley. Interment will be held in McGivney Community Cemetery.
