HARRIS, BEATRICE LILLIAN (FAIRWEATHER) (KIERSTEAD) Of Vespra, NB passed away at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on June 18, 2009 at the age of 79. Beatrice is survived by her husband Guy Harris, seven daughters; Judy Jones, Connie Newman-Jones, Amber Kierstead, Mavis Miller, Sharon McCumber, Karen Morton, Dawn Kierstead, two sons; Gerald and David Kierstead, one sister Leda Welton and three Step sisters Mildred Ivan, Anna Northrup and Ruth Brown, three brothers; Norman, Ira and Floyd Fairweather. Along with her stepfather Ted Brown, two step daughters Valerie Nash and Rita Stairs and three step sons Jarvis , Alfred and Wayne Harris, 11 grandchildren, five great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. Beatrice was a homemaker to her family and was a member of Branch #74 Legion, Chipman, NB and the Minto Seniors Club. She is predeceased by her parents Lillian (Clark) and Otty Fairweather, by her first husband Elmer Kierstead, three grandsons, one great granddaughter and one son-in-law. Relatives and friends are invited to Sunbury Funeral Home Friday June 19, 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm for visitations. Funeral service will be from Sunbury Funeral Home on Saturday June 20, 2009 at 2:00 pm with the Reverend James Harrison officiating.
