COREY, MARY JACQUELINE (JACKIE) M. Jackie Corey, formerly of Harvey, NB passed away June 17, 2009 at York Manor. Jackie was born in Plaster Rock, NB in 1920, a daughter of the late John and Mary Jane (Paterson) McSheffrey. Following her marriage to Alton Corey, she moved to Harvey in 1948 where she resided until 2001. Jackie loved her family and time spent with them at the camps on Harvey Lake, the Tobique River and their home in Florida. She is survived by her children, Ann of Fredericton, NB and Peter (Diane) of Newmarket, NB; a sister, Gerry Hathaway of Bathurst, NB, five grandchildren, Cynthia Hood (Chris) of Fredericton, NB, Stuart Large (Shannon) of Saint John, NB, Sarah Corey of Newmarket, NB, Katie Lake (Chris) of Fredericton, NB and Carolann Corey of Newmarket, NB; five great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Jackie was predeceased by her husband Alton in 1988. Visiting hours will be held at Swan Funeral Home, 1826 Highway 3, Harvey on Friday from 3 to 8 p.m. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 415 Highway 3, Newmarket on Saturday, June 20, 2009 at 10 a.m. by Rev. David Martin. Interment will follow at Cherry Mountain Cemetery.
