WAY, MURIEL MAVIS Muriel M. Way formerly of Charlie Lake, NB, passed away at Dow's Special Care Home, Scott's Siding, NB on June 21st, 2009. Born at Temple, NB in 1916, she was a daughter of the late Ernest and Ella (Patterson) Dow. Muriel and her husband Willard operated Shogomoc Sporting Camps at Charlie Lake for over 50 years. Muriel is survived by a sister, Joyce Wright (Vincent), Temple; a daughter-in-law, Joan Way, Charlie Lake; two sisters-in-law, Aylene Dow, Hawaii, USA and June Maskell, Woodstock; two nieces, Dana Overbo (Douglas), Hanwell and Muriel Shmayda (Walter), Rochester, NY and a nephew, Philip Dow (Kathy), Hawaii, USA. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Willard E. Way in 1990; infant son Melbourne and a son, Mark Way in 1993; two brothers, Meredith and Paul Dow and a nephew, Ross Dow. Visiting hours will be held at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis Drive, Nackawic on Tuesday evening from 6 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be held from the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, June 24th, 2009 at 2 pm. with Douglas Peeling officiating. Interment in Hillman Cemetery.
