EATON, JACQUELINE VICTORIA On June 11th, 2009 "Jackie" passed away peacefully at the DECH in the presence of her youngest son, David. Born Jacqueline Victoria Bester on May 24th 1922, she was the youngest child of the late Thomas Bester and Nellie (Hollingsworth) Bester. She was the last surviving member of her family. Jackie is survived by her children, Robert (Bob) Eaton (Tracy) of Hanwell, NB; David Eaton (Bonnie) of Hanwell, NB; Jane Eaton (Cameron) of Fredericton, NB and Lucinda (Cindy) Eaton (Larry) of Ontario; Grandchildren: Lisa (Hodgson) Merlini of Montreal, QE; Richard Hodgson of Edmonton, AB; Meagan Eaton, Matthew Eaton of Hanwell, NB; Sarra Doucette, Tiffany Doucette of Ontario; Margaret Demerchant, Rhonda Guidry, Michelle Boyd of Fredericton, NB; Russell and Brent Demerchant of Calgary and Winnipeg; 14 great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren and one nephew, Mark Holland. She was predeceased by her husband, Reverend Canon Edwin "Ted" Eaton, infant daughter Mary, sister Joy and her parents. Jackie was well known for her love of gardening and especially flower beds. She lovingly supported her husband and family, following wherever his work took him. She provided her best for her children. She lived her Christianity everyday, and her spirit touched many lives through her friends and through her work with the Healing Order of St. Luke. She will be greatly missed. A Memorial Service to celebrate her life will be held on Saturday, June 27th, 2009 at St. Margaret's Anglican Church on Forest Hill Road at 11am. A Reception will follow at the church.
