JOHNSTON, WAYNE SAMUEL It is with great sadness that the family of Wayne Johnston announces his passing on July 3rd, 2009 at his residence. Son of the late Kenneth and Lilias (Hall) Johnston and husband of Mary Brown-Johnston, he was born in Bocabec, NB on April 28th, 1937. He leaves to mourn his wife, Mary; children, Kevin (Jane) Johnston of Winnipeg, MB, Christine Johnston of Borden, ON and Kenneth Johnston of Fredericton, NB; brother Glen (Joan) Johnston of Calgary, AB; sister, Marilyn (Joe) Corbin of St. Andrews, NB; grandchild Mark; stepdaughters, Sheila (Scott) Carlisle and Sheri McNaughton; step grandchildren, Sean and Jack. Wayne was predeceased by his wife, Bernadette Johnston, his brother, Kenneth (Bud) and sister, Joyce Elaine Johnston. A special thanks to Wayne's personal care nurses, Mark Wilson, Samantha Gould, Ruth Ann Gesner, Shelley Vincent and Susan Cochrane. There is no visitation by request. The memorial service will take place on Monday, July 6th, 2009 at 2pm from Smythe Street Cathedral with Rev. Wayne Flowers officiating. Interment will take place at the Hermitage Cemetery.
