(UNDERHILL) ELSIE CAROL PARKER

PARKER, (UNDERHILL) ELSIE CAROL It is with great sorrow and sadness that her family announces the sudden death of Elsie Carol Parker, wife of David for 45 years. Elsie was born on December 21, 1943, in Blackville, New Brunswick. She was a daughter of Lorne and Annie (Touchie) Underhill. She is survived by her husband David George, daughters Lori McCloskey and Vicki Greene (Troy) and her three grandchildren Zachary and Andrew McCloskey, and Matthew Greene. She is also survived by four brothers and three sisters: Warren (Marg), Lyndon (Mary), Jack (Lois), Gary, Edna (Jim), Mary (Royal), and Doris (Guy). She was predeceased by four brothers Willis, Floyd, Hollis, Sterling and her sister Jean and Grammie Lassie. Elsie graduated from the Fredericton Teachers' College in 1962 and taught for a number of years before fully retiring from teaching in 1976 to take on the full time job of raising her children and then working casual at the DECH as a Communication Clerk until 1989. Elsie loved life and lived it to the fullest. She loved her family especially her three precious grandsons. She loved to work in her gardens amongst the flowers and the birds, to knit, and to spend time with her closest friends. Elsie touched the lives and hearts of many people with her unconditional acts of love, kindness and "silliness." She was known by her nieces and nephews as "PUD." She will hold a special place in many hearts and will be greatly missed but never forgotten. In honour of Elsie's wishes there will be no visitation or memorial service.
