It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved daughter. Sharmaine passed away Nov. 27, 2007, at Agape Hospice in Calgary, Alta. She is survived by her parents, Kevin and Belinda Gray; her husband, Jason M. Ward; her grandmother, Erna Gray; and her in-laws, Malcolm and Janet Ward, Calgary. She will be missed by many other family members, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends, and especially by her cats, Mickey and Kitty. Sharmaine had been employed with A.D. Williams Engineering as a project assistant and she thought the world of her job and co-workers. She also loved the outdoors, mountain scenery and motorcycling with Jason. Sharmaine was a fighter to the bitter end. By Sharmaine’s request, cremation had taken place in Calgary, where a memorial service was held. A memorial service will also be celebrated in her honour here at home by the ocean, at St. James United Church, Sambro, with Rev. Ellen Wilson to officiate and Rev. Anne Singer to assist, on Saturday, April 26, at 2 p.m. followed by interment at St. James United Church Cemetery, Sambro.
