MCKENNA, GARRY JAMES The passing of Garry James McKenna of Scotch Lake, NB, occurred on Tuesday, July 21, 2009 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on October 12, 1938 in Bloomfield Station, NB, he was the son of the late James and Lois (Wetmore) McKenna. Garry was a Big Brother and enjoyed hockey. Garry is survived by his bothers, Doug (Shirley) McKenna of Anagance, NB and Edwin McKenna of Arkansas, US; chosen son, Allan Shipp (Lynn Fraser) of Scotch Lake, NB; grandchildren, Jessie and Austin Shipp and many other surviving relatives. Besides his parents, Garry was predeceased by his sister, Patricia McKenna-Greenlaw. There will be no visitation by request; a Memorial Service will take place at a time and place to be announced at a later date.
